Have you noticed an empty iContent listing like this?
1970 Make Model? No exterior or interior color?
No, you're not selling a 50 year old car.
It's not an error. Typically this listing means EZ360 beat your data provider!
In the time it took your data provider to update their files and send out updated inventory ... EZ360 had already shot your vehicle and make it available for publication.
It's typical for a few vehicles to have empty iContent info like this.
How did this happen?
- EZ360 imports your inventory daily. This vehicle was not in the list.
- To start shooting your car, your operator normally enters the stock number.
- iVana responded that the vehicle is not in inventory. The photographer needs to enter the full VIN.
- Once the VIN is entered, the photographer can take pictures like normal.
Now what?
No worries. You don't need to do anything. The EZ360 system is VIN-based. These vehicle photos will correctly show in your VDP ... even if they're not in your inventory or feed.
When the auto finally is added to the feed, the correct vehicle info will display in iContent with the photos and the EZ360 photos will display in the SRP.
If many vehicles require full VIN entry, be sure to check your camera wifi connection and re-download the inventory. If the inventory is correctly downloading, there may be a data feed problem.
If it's an isolated vehicle, then there is some inconsistency in your inventory. Sometimes your dealer management system (DMS) may have an incorrect or missing character in the VIN. In that case correct the VIN in their application or contact your DMS provider.
