There may be times when the EZPi is not available due to hardware or software error, updates, or testing. As a result, you won't be able to see the EZPi display on your monitor and remotely control the fixed cameras.
You can still shoot your vehicles without EZPi. Follow this guide to learn how.
- Change Internet. Change the wifi connection for all your cameras to the wifi network set up by your facility for the studio (not EZ-PI). Be sure to change them back to the EZ-PI network when EZPi is back up.
- Manually operate the main fixed camera. Typically the main camera is accessible, whether on the workbench or the wall. You can continue to use the camera by directly touching the smartphone screen. Take care to regularly check the camera view and correct the camera orientation if it's been moved off-center.
- Shoot. Shoot your productions with the main camera only for spin. You can return to shooting both eye-level and top views when EZ-Pi is running and the top fixed camera can connect to it.
