4K iVana is somewhat different from the prior release (iVana 1). Please keep in mind the following when you upgrade your camera(s).
- iVana 1 is no longer supported and does not have the latest picture taking and app features. Mixed environments (a studio with both iVana 1 and 4K iVana cameras) are not recommended.
- BEFORE YOU UPDATE
- Write down all the settings from the fixed camera running iVana 1 as you’ll need these for 4K iVana.
- Download and install 4K iVana from the Google Play store.
- SETTINGS
- Review all the 4K iVana settings as some are new and a few have changed.
- 4K iVana features shared server-based settings that will update other cameras. At the bottom of settings pages be sure to click "Share these settings with other cameras"
- Camera Designation. Set or change the camera type when running 4K iVana for the first time or moving a camera.
- Artificial Intelligence. This setting can be skipped.
- CALIBRATION
- Settings / Advanced / Camera-Adjusted Time. Picture taking time varies slightly based on the camera location and studio light. Adjust this time as needed so the full (or almost full) number of spin pictures (such as 30) is completed for a complete turntable spin. This allows for smooth display as the spin moves from level to top view and closed to open door display.
- Exposure. After login enter a VIN or select Camera mode only. At the main menu go to Pictures to see the camera view and the settings on the left side. Test and set Exposure in particular to get the brightest light while still maintaining good vehicle definition.
- OPERATION
- Use Automated Pictures for the Spin type after you click on the spin icon.
