External vehicle images can come from various sources. The dealer may have already shot the vehicle. New cars may carry original manufacturer or third party pics. Data feed providers may have pics from an auction site or even prior dealer.
100% coverage, i.e. all a dealer’s vehicles being shot in our studio, is impossible. It’s a natural part of production as only so many cars can be photographed in a day. You won't have full coverage if you’re just starting our service. Some dealers only shoot used vehicles. Some use a priority system based on vehicle cost, location of dealer, whether it already has pics, etc.
There will always be times between when you acquire the vehicle and when it's shot. The vehicle may be in transit, in detailing, undergoing recon, or otherwise not yet available.
Our goal is to help you provide a consistent and optimal visitor experience. So it's best to have photos that can always be displayed - even if they're not great ones from EZ360. It's better than a blank space or a default "Images coming soon" graphic. You want to always be marketing and not miss a chance to sell!
