Here's what happens when your web provider uses the EZ360 SDK, which loads as an add-on AFTER your main page displays. This doesn't happen when they use our display API that loads as part of the web page.
- The initial media player display is what your web provider displays without EZ360. It uses their media player with photos from the data feed.
- Milliseconds later the EZ360 code is called and shows our custom VDP with studio photos.
- We call this artifact of a visual transition between the default and EZ360 displays the "blip."
- One consequence of the blip is that the photos can be DIFFERENT.
- EZ360 publishes photos to the web site instantly. The EZ360 CVDP shows the latest pictures from your studio virtually live.
- Most data providers still use FTP (learn more). So it can take a day (or even two) for the provider to grab the studio photos from EZ360, add them to your inventory, and then send them to your web provider. During this transit time the web site will continue to show the old pics until it has the new photos in the data feed.
